Pastor’s Message

Anyone who knows me for a while will find out that I really enjoy sailing. I started when I was 23 years old and have owned boats ever since- mainly of the beach catamarans. I love being on the water, I love the blue skies, I love seeing fish, seals, whales, manta rays but not sharks! I enjoy the racing and occasionally winning a trophy.

So when I find some one else who is interested in sailing you can hardly stop me from talking! But of course not everyone is interested in such conversation and so it quickly dries up (pun intended). And so it is with my love for Jesus Christ. Especially, when I am in an environment where I would not expect to find other Christians, it is a real joy when someone shares their love for Jesus and away we both go.

But sadly there are other occasions where people have that facial expression that tells me to be quiet. Most people are okay to hear about church and even God but when I speak about Jesus- the barriers go up. Still I do not give up- in such circumstances I pray. Our congregation regularly prays for our school and all of our needs.

May the Lord of peace give you his peace today.

Grace and peace,

Pastor Greg Graham
